Meet the Team
The project team directly involved in the proposed Ballinagree Wind Farm includes a dedicated in-house team that works with an engineering consultant, complemented by FuturEnergy Ireland specialists in areas such as grid, stakeholder management, ecology and planning.

John Lyons
Community Liaison OfficerJohn Lyons worked for four decade in State Forestry and Coillte before joining the FEI team. He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and relationships to the project in his role as Community Liaison Officer.

Fiona Maxwell
Project ManagerFiona Maxwell is Ørsted’s project manager for the proposed Ballinagree Wind Farm. A native of Tipperary, Fiona brings extensive experience in renewable energy development having been involved at all stages of major energy projects from initial concept, planning application through to construction and ongoing operation.

David Heelan
Project ManagerDavid has worked in the renewables and industrial production sectors throughout Ireland and the UK since 2008 with a more recent focus on asset management and performance optimisation. He believes that our work will deliver tangible benefits to the Irish energy sector and directly reduce the country’s reliance on imported and expensive fossil fuels.

Anne Walsh
Stakeholder ManagerAnne has worked in the renewable energy industry since 2011. She was involved in establishing a successful community recreation project in Sliabh Bawn, a Coillte-operating wind farm in Co. Roscommon, and leads our education outreach programme.
